About Us

Consortium UK are the official representatives in Thailand for four leading UK universities which all have long associations with Thailand in terms of both recruitment and collaboration.

The office is conveniently situated on the 4th Floor in Times Square building in Sukhumvit Road – Exit 5 BTS Asok with direct access from MRT Sukhumvit, near Asok/Sukhumvit/Rachada intersection, next to the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel, opposite Robinson and Terminal 21 - Times Square building has a large car park with 4 hours free parking for our guests.



Staff
Justin Moseley, Managing Director – UK national born in Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare (which is very near Warwick), has lived and worked in the education sector in Thailand since 1992. Active member of the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand www.bccthai.com. He regularly visits the universities in the UK and contributes to university conferences and has excellent contacts with academic and administration staff. He is constantly trying to influence ways to make the student visa application process easier.

Aiyarate Narinrum, Senior Student Counsellor – she is one of the most experienced Thai counsellors in Thailand and has many years of experience (since 2001) of advising and assisting Thai students to study at Warwick, Exeter and Bath Universities. She has visited all three universities and met with many Thai students studying there. She has excellent knowledge of all aspects of studying in the UK.



How we can help you
Advice, application, follow-up and placement service (we do not charge any fees) – we are in daily communication with the Universities and we have excellent contacts in their international offices, academic departments, accommodation offices and English language departments. Consortium UK are officially authorised by the Universities to certify (attest) originals of your supporting documents.

  • Helping you select the most suitable course – full information at our office (up-to-date prospectuses, course details, costs of studying/living, recent photographs, maps, brochures, etc)

  • Undergraduate Bachelor’s Degrees & Foundation Years - advice on UCAS applications and your Personal Statement; we can assist when you have not achieved your offer conditions and “Clearing” – we arrange for the university representatives to visit some International Schools
  • Postgraduate Master’s Degrees – complete advice and assistance with your application

  • PhD Doctoral studies – advice on your research proposal and assistance with finding a supervisor

  • Applications – information on what you need to provide and help with completing the application form – help with online applications

  • Statement of Purpose (Personal Statement) & CV (Resume) – we can advise on improvements

  • Certification (attesting) of original documents and certification of copies of original documents

  • Sending your applications and certified supporting documents (direct upload to University online)

  • Follow-up on applications

  • Informing you immediately of decisions and when offers are made

  • Counselling if you do not receive an offer – realistic alternatives

  • Offers – we can explaining what they mean and advise on how you accept, decline (or defer)

  • Meeting conditions – sending documents that change conditional offers to unconditional offers

  • Sending your acceptance and deposit payments (when necessary)

  • Sending new transcripts, certificates, IELTS or TOEFL scores

  • Personal Counselling at our office with visiting academics and university staff

  • Applicant/Offer Holders reception in March hosted by the University representatives and Thai alumni at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel – meet other Thai students who are going to study at the same university and receive up-to-date information

  • Accommodation advice – we know the locations and best places for you to stay, on and off-campus

  • Pre-sessional English – advice on what IELTS you need and help with booking the course and accommodation

  • Visa assistance – advice on getting your IOM Medical Certificate and getting CAS statement from the university, help with completing the online visa application form and making the online application fee payment, scheduling an appointment at the Visa Application Centre, and getting your visa

  • Travel advice – help with selecting flights and air tickets, National Express bus and rail tickets, hotels, etc

  • Pre-Departure Briefings in June/July hosted by the University representatives at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel – meet other Thai students who are going to study at the same university (maybe make plans to travel together from Thailand to the University, share a taxi or minibus, etc)

  • Help when you are studying

  • Contact when you return to Thailand

  • Alumni events in future years

  • Members of the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand, so we have good links with the British business community in Thailand
